Everson is one of the smaller towns of Whatcom County with a population near 2,000. Everson incorporated as a city in 1929. The City of Everson is divided by the Nooksack River. Everson is primarily an agricultural town. There are many dairy farms in the area.
Everson has a few new neighborhoods mixed in with some of the more established ones. Main Street is the main drag of Everson, which runs through the heart downtown. Downtown you will find the Black Forest Steak House, IGA grocery store and a major bank. Everson offers a laid back lifestyle within 20 minutes of the City of Bellingham.
